Rockdogs to party like it’s 1999 2009

The world greatest unsigned band the RockDogs today announced that 2009 will be the year that they finally reach all their goals and become the biggest band in the world.  The RockDogs’ goals for 2009 include

1) signing a record deal,

2) making a gazillion dollars,

3) joining the mile high club having a street named after them and

4) appearing in an episode of the Simpsons. 

A spokesman for the RockDogs said the band firmly believes they will achieve all these objectives in 2009.

“Yeah, and I’m a Llama,” said Spike, the band’s unreconstructed Bassist.  “Frankly I’d be happy if we could just get more that 10 fans to one of our gigs,” said Spike.  “Those marketing guys can go get $##!.”

Spike did agree that it was important to finally make their long-awaited move into television.  “That will certainly attract a higher class of hornbag to our gigs,” he said.
