RockDogs.com would like everyone to know that they are recalling all merchandise due to the current lead paint scare.
RockDogs lead singer and shaman Zeke confirmed the recall in a press release today. He said that the band’s concern was only for their fans and not for the millions of dollars in potential lawsuits if some kid swallows some lead.
Zeke added, “To be safe, all caps and mugs need to be returned however people wanting to keep them as highly sought-after collector’s items may do so, but please don’t use them. I don’t care if the merch wasn’t even made in the same city as the Mattel stuff or whether they actually contain lead paint or even paint at all!” Since all RockDogs merchandise are now collector’s items rather than simple band promotions they remain for sale and prices have been increased accordingly.
Although the RockDogs are urgently recalling the 6,324 caps and mugs sold between the 12th and 14th of August 2007, they unfortunately do not plan to refund any money at present.
